The style tile concept is similar to how an interior designer creates a board for a room with samples of paint color, fabric patterns and pictures of pieces of furniture or accessories that would set the style for the room. The whole room isn’t created, but their clients can get a feel for the style.
Watermelon Music features its watermelon namesake in its logo, and has a pattern of striations that is reminiscent of sound waves. I planned to use a similar texture and I found this image of a woman in red that was my inspiration for the website. Watermelon Music is a music store for people interested in music all the way from hobbyists through professionals who rent equipment for shows. I wanted the website to represent a store that is serious about music but does not take itself too seriously.
