In order to design the website to be user friendly, we have to understand what users are looking for so that we can make sure it organized in a logical way. A website can have a lot of information but if it isn’t organized in a way that makes it intuitive to use, the information might as well not even be there. The hierarchy of information will be incorporated in to the design of the new website.
Hierarchy of information goals:
- Hours
- Phone number
- Address
- Shopping for music accessories
- Shopping/Window shopping for instruments
- Wanting to rent (long term) an instrument
- Repair Information
- Wanting to rent (short term) professional sound equipment
- Researching AKA window shopping
- Searching for an instructor
- Looking for entertainment (wanting to see a live show)
